Salzburg

It was love at first sight for me when we arrived into Salzburg. And it remains one of my biggest disappointments of the entire trip that I only got a couple hours there.

That said, one of my most cherished moments of our trip was watching a spectacular sunset over this magical city with my mother from Hohensalzburg.

The hills are still alive.

I can hardly wait until I get to return to Salzburg for a proper visit. It is now at the top of my new bucket list. Obviously, making a thorough Sound of Music pilgrimage will be a part of that trip, too.
